Waxing Hair Removal
Waxing is a time-tested way of getting rid of unwanted hair. It’s been around for centuries. Waxing involves pulling out hairs by their roots leaving an attractively smooth and soft finish. This technique can be performed either with or without ‘wax strips’ depending on the area being addressed and a client’s sensitivity. If you’re sick of unwanted hair on your body, we have just the thing for you. We use the latest sensitive skin creams to remove stubborn hair, leaving your skin smooth and hair-free.
Is waxing Painful?
Waxing strips can be painful if you have sensitive skin. As the hairs are being pulled out by the root, some clients report some minor irritation or redness at the waxing site but most agree that this sensitivity decreases with continued sessions.
Are there side effects to waxing?
The most common bothersome effects reported after a waxing treatment include some minor rashing, bumps, ingrown hairs or sun sensitivity at the treated areas. All of these issues may be significantly lessened by proper after treatment care
How often should I wax?
Depending on how quickly a client experiences hair regrowth, waxing treatments should be scheduled for when hair length is approximately a half centimeter, usually 2 – 3 weeks. This will ensures the best possible adhesion for the wax.
Does waxing reduce hair growth?
Yes, waxing reduces hair growth. If you wax every four to five weeks, then you should see a reduction in your unwanted hair.
Is waxing expensive?
Our waxing services are affordable and budget-friendly. Our prices vary depending on the body part that you want to wax.
How should I prepare for my waxing?
Before your treatment, clean and exfoliate the area thoroughly. Removing any dead skin and bacteria will help your skin stay healthy during and after the process
What should I do after my waxing treatment?
Immediately after your waxing treatment, apply a soothing oil, this will help remove any remaining wax from your skin. For the 24-48 hours following a wax, treat the waxed skin tenderly avoiding sun exposure, saunas, and high-intensity exercise. Additionally, avoid tight clothing that could cause irritation, such as leggings or skinny jeans. Moisturize well and often to soothe and hydrate your skin
